Event Technician (AV & Production)
Location: Glasgow, Scotland
Job Type: Full-time / Freelance opportunities available
Role Overview:
As an Event Technician, you’ll be responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of audio-visual equipment, lighting, and staging at live events. You’ll work closely with clients and production teams to ensure flawless execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate sound, lighting, and AV equipment for live events.
- Troubleshoot technical issues on-site and provide real-time solutions.
- Work with clients and event managers to meet technical requirements.
- Ensure safe handling, transport, and setup of all equipment.
- Maintain and test equipment before and after events.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in live event production, AV, or technical support.
- Knowledge of audio systems, lighting rigs, LED screens, and video equipment.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- A full UK driving licence is a plus.
Event Project Manager
Location: Glasgow, Scotland (Hybrid role)
Job Type: Full-time
Role Overview:
As an Event Project Manager, you’ll oversee the planning and execution of live and hybrid events, ensuring every detail runs smoothly. From managing client relationships to coordinating logistics, this role requires someone who is organised, detail-focused, and thrives in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage event logistics from planning to on-site execution.
- Work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored event solutions.
- Coordinate with suppliers, venues, and technical teams to ensure seamless delivery.
- Develop and manage event timelines, budgets, and production schedules.
- Oversee event setup and breakdown, ensuring high standards are maintained.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in event production or event management.
- Strong understanding of technical production, AV, and live event logistics.
- Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
